Seren Books is an independent literary publisher of quality writing in poetry, fiction, translation, biography, art and history. It is international in authorship and readership and  specialises in English writing from Wales. Templar Poetry publishes good modern poetry in beautifully designed books. Templar also runs the Derwent Poetry Festival, publishes Iota Poetry Magazine, and runs the Templar Pamphlet & Collection Awards, the Straid Award for Poetry Collections and the iota Shot Awards for short poetry pamphlets. The Poetry Business is a poetry publisher and writer development agency. It publishes books, pamphlets, audio and eBooks under the Smith/Doorstop imprint, edits literary magazine The North, and runs writing days, masterclasses, residential courses, and a writing school for published poets. Quirk Theatre is an Exeter-based theatre company that makes serious theatre for children. Set up by Andy Brodie and Simon Hall in 2002, it creates a new show from scratch every year for the Exeter Phoenix Arts Centre. Since 2009 Hilary Menos has been writing lyrics and pieces of text for the shows and in 2012 she joined the company in rehearsals as script overseer. Link to Quirk here
